I animated this background projection visual for Summer's performance of Headspace during her March 19th, 2021 livestream concert.

Summer talked to me about the idea of a face/head opening up and turning back on itself, phasing in and out of noise displacement, and abstracted warping of reality. She also provided some references of other work of mine she liked that included color palettes and RGB displacement.

I chose to explore the imagery she was looking for by creating and playing with a 3D model of her face. I used Blender, Cinema4D, and After Effects to model, warp, and composite these explorations into this two minute and twenty one second visual.
