BIRDWORLD is a participatory installation of migratory birds traversing a digital sky, conceived and coded by Tara Rose Morris and presented at the Charles Street Video immersive gallery as part of the Geary Art Crawl in March 2026.

As visitors draw their birds, each joins a growing flock. Gradually, the screen fills with hundreds of unique birds, forming an ecosystem shaped by the public’s creativity. This project explores themes of collective creation, playful participation, and the joy of observing a shared world — capturing visitors’ attention and encouraging them to linger.

Made as part of MANYBIRDS, the audiovisual collaboration between Tara Rose Morris and composer Graham Steinman.
